Dashboards are customisable interfaces that let you quickly access and analyse a wide range of data. You can tailor them to show specific information like contact volumes, sales metrics, or campaign effectiveness.
To create multiple dashboards, follow these steps:
Add a New Dashboard
Select Add a Dashboard within the Dashboard section.
Dashboard Options
There are three main options for creating a dashboard, each shown as a card with a title, description, icon, and a "Select" button.
- Create from Blank Dashboard: "Start fresh with a clean slate." This option lets you create an entirely new, empty dashboard without any pre-existing data or configurations.
- From Template Library: "Use a Readymade Template from the Library or one of yours." This option lets you choose from pre-made templates, either from a shared library or your own, to create a dashboard with pre-configured settings.
- Clone Existing Dashboard: "Make Clone of your Existing Dashboard." This option lets you duplicate an existing dashboard, keeping its layout, data, and configurations.
When creating a blank dashboard, you'll be prompted to give it a name and set visibility permissions (e.g., view and edit permissions). Once you've configured your permissions, click "Confirm" to continue.
Customise Your Dashboard
Customise the dashboard and choose pre-configured widgets based on your goals. You can also add widgets that display various data types such as Contact Counts, Opportunity counts, and much more. Choose the appropriate widget type and configure its settings to suit your needs. You can also select "Add a widget manually" to build your own widgets from scratch.
Click "Confirm & Add" to continue.
Edit and Save Changes
Arrange and adjust widgets as needed so the dashboard presents data in the most useful way.
Use the Save Changes button to save your modifications and preserve the configured layout.
Adding and customising dashboards with relevant widgets lets you tailor your interface to your specific needs. This makes it easier to make data-driven decisions. Remember to review and update your dashboard layout periodically to keep it showing the most relevant insights for your business.
Practical Tips and Troubleshooting
