Working sessions with the NotLuck founder

Your CRM, built with you. Live in a day.

Most agencies still build the old way, with a bit of AI sprinkled on top. Here the AI agents carry the bags: staging the groundwork, importing the data, drafting the templates, while you sit with Bertie and make the calls that shape your business. Your priorities ship while you watch, and you walk out running the system.

£750 to £2,950 +VAT · one-off · Google Meet or in person · one or two sessions a week · new to NotLuck? Start with the £297 onboarding

Why a session

The agency project, compressed into a room.

You have seen how CRM projects usually go. A working session replaces the whole drawn-out shape of one.

The usual project

  • Weeks of waiting between updates, and you do the chasing
  • Mystery invoices as the scope creeps
  • Decisions made about your business in meetings you were never in
  • A system half-handed-over that only the agency understands

A working session

  • Decisions made in the room, with you, as the system takes shape
  • One agreed price, paid up front, scoped together on the day
  • You learn the system as it gets built, because you watched every piece land
  • You walk out running it, with the recording to keep
The sessions

Four ways in. One ladder.

All one-off, all +VAT. Build sessions are for Club members and customers who have completed onboarding. New to NotLuck? Onboarding is step one: we handle the boring stuff so your session with Bertie is all building.

Those lists are the kind of thing that ships at each rung, drawn from recent sessions: shapes to calibrate against rather than a promise list. Your own agenda comes from the menu picker. All prices exclude VAT, one-off, no subscription. New to NotLuck? Start with the £297 onboarding.

Why this price

Four weeks of agency time. One day. Same money.

A typical agency CRM setup runs around £3,000 and takes a month of back and forth: discovery calls, a build queue, revision rounds, a handover deck. A Full Build Day is the same money, and the work ships in a day with you in the room for every decision.

It looks easy on the day. That is the point.

Years of CRM builds have been turned into AI agents, templates and staging pipelines that put the groundwork in place programmatically before you arrive. The day moves fast because the hard part already happened.

The system, plus the founder's full attention

The price covers the machinery that makes a single day enough, and the person who built it sitting next to you for the whole session. Comparable agency projects spread the same work across weeks and invoice for every change afterwards.

One price, paid up front, no meter running

Every session is one-off and +VAT. The traffic-light scoping at the start sets what is in, and build days carry a 7-day snag window on everything built. No surprise extras, ever.

Bertie runs one or two sessions a week, and every session is with him personally. That is the real constraint, and it is why the diary below is short.

The diary

Pick a date. Pay. Build.

This is the live diary. Bertie runs one or two sessions a week, so what you see here is what exists. Choose your session, tap a date, pick a time, pay, and the prep guide is on its way.

How it works

Pick. Prep. Build.

1

Pick your builds

Choose from the modular menu below: must have, nice to have, or pass. Your full list becomes your CRM roadmap.

2

Pre-work staged programmatically

Before the day, our AI pipeline stages the groundwork: accounts, imports, domains, templates. Admin happens before the session, never during it.

3

The day is time-boxed

Top priority first, built live with Bertie. Decisions made in the room, systems working before you leave.

4

What doesn't fit becomes your next agenda

Anything left on the list is already scoped and prioritised. It rolls straight into the agenda for your next session.

The 72-hour pre-work gate

One rule, and it's a real one: everything on your prep list (your picks, brand assets, contact exports, logins) needs to be in 72 hours before the session. That's what lets us stage the groundwork in advance, so your hours with Bertie get spent building rather than on admin. If the prep isn't in, we move the session rather than waste your money.

Fair play

How we keep it fair.

Paying for a time-boxed session only works if both sides trust the clock. So the rules are written down here, and they cut both ways.

Every session opens with a traffic-light scope

Before any building starts, you and Bertie map the scope together and sort it into three lists. It takes a few minutes, everyone knows the deal up front, and the end of the session holds no surprises.

Green Will be done today

Agreed at the start and built first. This is the promise of the day.

Amber If we have time

Worth aiming for, never promised. Whatever the clock leaves becomes the agenda for your next session.

Red Not today

Out of scope for the session and onto your roadmap in writing, so it stays visible rather than forgotten.

A guide before the day

Every booking gets a prep guide ahead of the session: what to have ready, what to expect, and the menu picker for choosing your builds. Pair it with the 72-hour pre-work gate and the groundwork is staged before you arrive.

Fair reschedules, both ways

Life happens. If something on your side fails, the internet drops or an emergency pulls you away, we reschedule fairly and pick up where we left off. If something on our side fails, or we believe we let you down for reasons outside your control, we book another session at no cost. The rule we work to is simple: as fair as possible.

A snag window after a build day

Build days carry a 7-day snag window. If something we built on the day does not work as agreed, tell us within the week and we fix it at no cost.

Online

Google Meet, screen shared

Half-days run online as standard. You see every build happen, recordings are yours to keep, and there's no travel to organise. Most build days run this way too.

In person

Same room, full build day

Prefer to sit down together? Every session can run in person, from a 90-minute Power Session to a full build day. Near Nottingham is easiest; further afield may carry travel costs, agreed up front before you book a date.

Questions

Build days, answered.

What do I get before the day?

A prep guide, sent ahead of every booking: what to have ready, what to expect on the day, and the menu picker for choosing your builds. Then the 72-hour pre-work gate kicks in, your picks, brand assets, contact exports and logins all in three days before, so the groundwork is staged before the session starts and the time with Bertie opens on building rather than admin.

What happens at the start of the session?

Scoping, together, with traffic lights. Green is what will be done today. Amber is what we will get to if we have time. Red is not today: it goes on your roadmap instead. It takes a few minutes and it means everyone knows the deal before any building starts, so the end of the session holds no surprises. See how we keep it fair.

What actually happens on the day?

After the traffic-light scoping at the start, you and Bertie work through the green list, top item first. The AI agents do the heavy lifting live: building pipelines, wiring automations, importing contacts, drafting templates. You make the decisions in the room and learn the system as it gets built. The day is time-boxed, so the focus stays on shipping working systems rather than talking about them.

What is the 72-hour pre-work gate?

Everything on your prep list (your picks, brand assets, contact exports, logins) needs to be in 72 hours before the session. That gives us time to stage the groundwork programmatically, so the session gets spent building rather than on admin. If the prep is not in, we move the session rather than waste your money.

What if we don't finish in the day?

The session is time-boxed on purpose, and the traffic lights keep that fair. Greens are agreed at the start and built first. Ambers were always a bonus rather than a promise, and anything the clock leaves behind becomes the agenda for your next session, already scoped and prioritised. Nothing gets rushed and nothing gets lost.

What if the internet goes down mid-session?

We reschedule fairly. If the failure is on your side, your connection drops or an emergency pulls you away, we find a new date and pick up where we left off; the staged pre-work keeps. If the failure is on our side, or we believe we let you down for reasons outside your control, we book another session at no cost.

What if I need to move my date?

Tell us as soon as you know and we will move it. Your staged pre-work moves with you, so a new date costs you nothing in lost ground. We only ask for as much notice as you can give, because session slots are scarce, and we will always be as fair as possible about it. Money questions beyond that? Talk to us and we will sort it together.

What happens after the session?

You keep everything built, live in your own CRM account, with the recording if the session ran online. Build days carry a 7-day snag window: if something we built on the day does not work as agreed, tell us within the week and we fix it at no cost. Your ambers and reds are already a written roadmap, so a follow-up session starts with an agenda rather than a blank page, and CRM Club is there for the day-to-day with weekly training, office hours and 24/7 chat.

What does a Power Session get me in 90 minutes?

Ninety minutes one-to-one with Bertie, paid up front and time-boxed like every session. You diagnose what matters most in your business, set the roadmap together, and ship one real build live in the room. You leave with a working build and a prioritised roadmap that becomes the agenda for any half-day or full build day that follows. £750 +VAT, one-off, for Club members and customers who have completed onboarding.

How can so much fit in the time?

Because the groundwork is staged programmatically before the session, the time goes on building rather than setup. The kind of thing that ships: a Power Session covers a comprehensive website with blog and contact form, automations wired in and the CRM set up, or one deep fix such as a sales pipeline with lead follow-up automation live or an AI chat widget trained and installed. A half-day covers a more extensive website plus the systems behind it, or several Power-Session-sized builds in one sitting such as site, email engine and booking calendars. A full build day covers the whole operation: extensive site, pipelines, automations, AI chat, email engine, calendars and payments, with you trained on the lot by the end. See the examples per session.

What if I just want a simple website?

Then skip the CRM onboarding. A comprehensive site with blog and contact form ships in a 90-minute Power Session, provided your assets, copy, images and brand bits, are in ahead of the day. Website-only builds run on our website hosting plans rather than a full CRM plan. Send the assets, book the session, watch it built.

What if I'm not technical?

You don't need to be. Your job in the room is decisions: how your customers buy, what the follow-up should say, what your team will actually use. Bertie and the AI agents handle the technical side, you watch every build happen, and by the end the system is familiar because you saw it come together. The training is part of the day.

Who is actually doing the work?

Bertie, in the room with you, with NotLuck's AI agents doing the heavy lifting live. Power Sessions, half-day sessions and full build days are all booked with Bertie personally. The Onboarding Session is the exception: it is delivered by the NotLuck team and its AI pipeline, which is how it stays at £297 +VAT.

Will I be able to run it afterwards?

Yes, the day is designed for it. You make every decision as the system gets built, so you learn it from the inside rather than inheriting a black box. Online sessions are recorded and the recordings are yours to keep. And if you want backup afterwards, CRM Club runs weekly training, office hours and 24/7 chat.

Do I need to do onboarding before a build session?

If you're new to NotLuck, yes. Build sessions are for Club members and customers who have completed onboarding. The £297 +VAT Onboarding Session is deliberately all the boring stuff, accounts, data imports, domains, logins, pre-work and menu picks, handled by the NotLuck team and its AI pipeline, so your session with Bertie is purely building. A new customer's Full Build Day totals £297 plus £2,950, both +VAT. Existing CRM Club members book sessions directly.

Is the session online or in person?

Every session runs online on Google Meet or in person, whichever suits. You choose when you book. In-person sessions near Nottingham are easiest; further afield may carry travel costs, agreed up front.

Do I need a NotLuck CRM subscription?

For CRM builds, yes: they live in your own NotLuck CRM account, from £97/mo +VAT, and if you're not on the platform yet that gets sorted as part of the pre-work. The exception is a website-only build, which runs on our website hosting plans rather than a full CRM plan.

Is VAT included in the prices?

No. All session prices are one-off and exclusive of VAT. VAT at 20% is added at checkout.
