These Are the Problems We Actually Solve

Every business we work with starts somewhere like this.

📊

Sales team drowning in admin

A growing services company had their sales team spending more time updating spreadsheets than speaking to customers. External pressure was mounting — clients wanted faster responses but the team was buried in manual follow-ups and status updates.

🤷

"We know AI exists, but where do we start?"

A 30-person professional services firm had budget for AI tools but no strategy. Staff were experimenting with free ChatGPT accounts on personal phones — no consistency, no data governance, no measurable impact.

🔥

Manual processes eating 20+ hours a week

An operations manager was copy-pasting data between three different systems every day. The same information entered three times, with inevitable human errors causing downstream problems for the fulfilment team.

😰

Leadership wanted AI — the team was terrified

Senior leadership had seen the headlines and wanted "AI everywhere" but the staff on the ground were anxious. Some worried about job security. Others had tried AI tools once, got poor results, and written them off entirely.

Nº 02 Custom Training

Custom Training & Deep Dives

A bespoke programme built around your business, your team, and the problems keeping you up at night.

Bertie has spent his career building and running customer-facing platforms. He co-founded fillmybelly.com, the UK's third-biggest takeaway platform when Just Eat acquired it in 2012, and spent the next three years as Director of Global Systems at Just Eat. He's also held senior roles at DirectApps. Years of understanding customer problems at scale, distilled into how we run training today. He's always learning, always researching the latest tools, so your team doesn't have to.

Every engagement starts the same way: understanding your customers, your staff, and the friction between them. The training is human-led, not tech-led. We figure out what will make your staff more efficient and your customers happier — then we teach you how to make it happen.

Staff Orientation Sessions

Custom surveys to understand where your team is. Then targeted training that meets everyone where they are — from complete beginners to power users.

Automation Audits

We map your current processes, find the bottlenecks, and show you exactly where automation will have the biggest impact — with the least disruption.

AI Integration Training

Hands-on sessions teaching your team to use AI tools for their actual daily work — not theoretical demos, real workflows they'll use tomorrow.

Process Deep Dives

We go deep on one specific area — lead handling, onboarding, reporting, client communication — and rebuild it from the ground up with your team.

Nº 06 Our Approach

Human-Led, Customer-First

We don't turn up with a slide deck about technology. We start with your people.

01

Understand Your Customers

What do your customers actually need? Where are they getting frustrated? We start here because every good system starts with the person it's meant to serve.

02

Understand Your Staff

What's burning their time? What tasks do they dread? Where do things fall through the cracks? We find the friction between what your team does and what your customers need.

03

Find the Simple Wins

Not everything needs AI. Sometimes it's a better process. Sometimes it's one automation that saves 10 hours a week. We find the highest-impact changes and implement them first.

04

Teach, Don't Just Build

We don't want you dependent on us. We teach your team to maintain, adapt, and improve what we've set up — so when things change, they're confident to change with it.

What People Say About Working With Us

Real feedback from businesses we've trained and consulted with

K
Kasim Butt
“I really enjoyed it and found Bertie's talk genuinely useful. One of my biggest takeaways was the perspective on how to introduce AI to people who may not have much prior experience with it. Framing it in practical, everyday terms rather than technical ones felt like the right approach, especially in the charity sector. I also really liked the example linking AI and "laziness" - in the sense that using AI to remove repetitive or low-value tasks can actually free people up to focus on more meaningful, human-led work. That framing felt honest, relatable, and much easier for people to connect with. Overall, it was a great session and definitely gave me a few ideas to reflect on.”
J
Josh Davis
“I've learned so many new things about AI from organising this event itself - and enjoyed learning more about Bertie's career journey too. Looking forward to catching up more in the new year!”
N
Nottingham Charity Network Nottingham Charity Network
“Bertie's talk was a real highlight, and we were so glad to have him and NotLuck involved. We know many of those who joined us benefited from his practical insights on using AI and gained new perspectives. It's definitely a topic we'll be continuing to explore in the year ahead!”
S
Shelly Milliband
“Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Nottingham Charity Network event and what an inspiring evening it was. A huge thank you to the panel for sharing their insights, and especially to Bertie, whose talk truly opened my mind to new perspectives on AI. His ability to engage the room and make complex ideas feel accessible was brilliant. I left feeling energised, informed, and excited about the possibilities ahead for AI in the charity sector.”
Nº 07 Common Questions

Common Questions

How is the custom training priced?

Every engagement is scoped individually. We discuss your needs, your team size, and the outcomes you want — then put together a proposal. There's no generic price list because no two businesses need the same thing.

Do attendees need any technical background?

No. We design sessions for mixed skill levels. Whether someone's never used AI or already builds automations, they'll get value. We meet people where they are.

Where does the training happen?

Two options. Either we come to you on-site (anywhere in the UK, travel included within the East Midlands and costed transparently for further afield), or your team comes to our Nottingham office for the day. Both formats run the same way; the office option suits smaller groups who want a change of scenery and zero distractions.

What's the difference between custom training and the Claude workshop?

Custom training is fully bespoke — we scope it around your specific needs, which might include automation audits, process deep dives, staff orientation, or AI integration. The Claude workshop is a structured full-day intensive focused specifically on getting your team productive with Claude.

Do we need paid AI subscriptions?

For the Claude workshop, attendees will need a Claude subscription. For custom training, it depends on the scope — we'll advise during the scoping conversation. In both cases, we can help you choose the right plans and avoid overspending.

What follow-up support is included?

The Claude workshop includes 30 days of follow-up support for all attendees. For custom training, the support period is agreed as part of the scoping — typically 30-90 days depending on the engagement.

Ready to Get Started?

Whether it's a full deep dive or a one-day workshop, it starts with a conversation. Tell us what you're trying to solve and we'll figure out the best way to help.
