What it does for you

Links your Google listing to the CRM, so you can collect reviews and keep Google contacts in step.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Google.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that owns your Business Profile, not a personal account.
  3. Approve the permissions and choose your business location from the list.
  4. If you want your Google contacts in the CRM, connect Google Contacts and choose which contacts to bring in.
  5. Check your location now shows as connected.

You'll know it worked when

  • Your business location shows as connected.
  • You can see your Google reviews in the CRM.
  • Any Google contacts you chose now show in your contacts list.

Common snags

  • Your location is not in the list. The account you signed in with is probably not an owner or manager of the profile. Ask the owner to add you first.
  • The Business Profile is unverified. Google needs to verify it before it can be connected.
  • Too many contacts came in. Use the import tag to find and remove a batch you did not want.
  • You use Outlook for email. You can still connect Google for your Business Profile, as the two are separate.
