TikTok is a great way to reach new audiences and encourage them to interact with your business. Sometimes that engagement will come in the form of a direct message, and responding promptly is one of the simplest ways to make people feel valued. Here's how to use workflows to handle those replies without having to be glued to your inbox.

Prerequisites

To use your CRM tools for TikTok comment management, you must first connect your account. Navigate to the Integrations section inside your account settings and click Connect under the TikTok logo.

If you see a ( ! ) icon next to the integration after connecting your account, click Manage Accounts.

Toggle the option under Enable Messaging on.

Once properly connected, incoming TikTok messages will appear directly in your Conversations Inbox.

Setting Up Automations

To build an automation to respond to your reel comments, head to the Workflows tab inside the Automation section and create a new workflow.

Click Add New Trigger and select the trigger "Customer Replied."

Click "+ Add Filter," select Reply channel, and set TikTok as the channel.

Click Save Trigger to add it to your workflow.

Click the plus sign icon to add an action and select "TikTok Interactive Messages."

Enter your message, then click Save Action.

Add any other actions you need, then publish your workflow to start using it.
