Tags help you keep your contacts organised, so it's worth removing any that no longer apply to a customer. This keeps your contact categorisation tidy and improves targeting in your marketing campaigns. The Remove Contact Tag action lets you delete tags from a contact when the workflow runs.
Removing Tags
To use this action, open the Workflow builder inside the Automation section. Create or edit an existing workflow.

In the workflow builder, click the "+" icon to add an action and select Remove Contact Tag from the list.

Toggle the Remove All tags option to reset the contact to no tags.

Alternatively, select the tag(s) you want to remove from the dropdown menu; you can include multiple tags at once.

Click Save Action once you've selected the tags.

Then, Publish and Save to activate the workflow.

Removing outdated or irrelevant tags keeps your contact database clean and organised, making it easier to re-engage customers through other pipelines or with new offers. It also helps ensure your marketing stays relevant and your contact list remains well-maintained.
