To make sure your message lands as intended, it's worth testing and previewing your email campaigns or templates before you send them. Different email providers can render content differently, so previewing first helps you catch any issues and ensures your emails look right across the board.

Benefits of Utilizing These Features

  • Time Efficiency: Facilitates quicker and more comprehensive testing of email details.
  • Improved User Experience: Offers a more realistic preview of how emails will appear to recipients.

How to Preview the Email Campaign/Template

Before sending your campaign, use the preview feature to see how your email will appear to recipients, allowing for any necessary adjustments to improve its impact.

Navigate to Email > Campaigns or Templates, and find the specific campaign or template you want to test. For this guide, we will focus on the Templates section.

Click the three-dot actions dropdown next to the desired template or campaign, and select the Preview option.

Alternatively, you can select the Preview option from the dropdown menu within the editor.

Testing the Email Campaign/Template

You can also view the email in your inbox to see exactly how it will appear to your recipients. To do this, go to the email campaign or template action menu and select the Test Email option. This lets you check the final presentation and make any adjustments before sending to your audience.

Within this modal, you can input key details such as the sender's email address, the recipient's email address, and the subject line. Please note that the unsubscribe link will not be active in test emails to prevent unintended opt-outs.

Previewing and testing your email campaigns or templates helps ensure they display correctly and perform as expected, giving your audience a smooth experience.
