When an opportunity's pipeline stage is updated, the Pipeline Stage Change workflow trigger activates. It fires each time the opportunity card moves through any stage in the pipeline.
Adding the Pipeline Stage Changed Trigger
Click "Add New Trigger" and select "Pipeline Stage Changed".
All Filters
You can add filters to narrow down when the trigger fires. Click Add Filters and choose from the options below.
Assigned To
Use the "Assigned To" filter to trigger the workflow based on which team member is assigned to the contact. Select a team member from the dropdown.
Has Tag
The "Has Tag" filter only triggers the workflow when an opportunity card with a specific tag moves between stages. For example, if a card tagged with a Member-exclusive reward moves from one stage to another, the workflow activates.
In Pipeline
Use the "In Pipeline" filter to target a specific pipeline, so the trigger only fires when a card moves within that pipeline.
Lead Value
Choose the "Lead value" option, set an operator, and enter the lead value as a number.
Lost Reason
The "Lost Reason" filter lets you capture why an opportunity was marked as lost. You can use it to trigger workflows that notify your team, analyse patterns, or follow up for feedback.
Pipeline Stage
Use the "Pipeline Stage" filter to target a specific stage in the pipeline. The workflow will only activate when a card reaches that stage. For example, selecting No Show in the Appointment pipeline means the workflow only fires when a customer moves to that stage.
Status
Use the "Status" option to filter by Open, Won, Lost, or Abandoned. The workflow will only trigger when an opportunity matches the selected status.
Once you've set up your filters, click Save Trigger in the bottom-right corner to finish.
