The Note Changed trigger ensures that any updates to contact notes are automatically captured, keeping you organised and informed about important changes. This guide walks you through setting up and customising the "Note Changed" trigger to optimise your workflows.

Adding the Note Changed Trigger

Start by clicking "Add New Trigger" in your workflow setup. Search for and select the "Note Changed" trigger under the Contact section.

📌NOTE: To publish workflows, you must establish a workflow trigger and action. Without both, you can only save the workflow and not publish it.

Add Filters

You can filter the trigger by clicking the Add Filters button.

Doesn't Have a Tag

By selecting the "Doesn't Have Tag" filter option, this workflow will ONLY be triggered when you change a note for a contact that doesn't have the tag you specify in the filter area.

Has Tag

By selecting the "has tag" filter, the workflow will only fire when a note is added to a contact who has the specified tag.

Once you've set up your filters and reminders, click "Save Trigger" to finalise your note-changed workflow.

📌NOTE: You can add workflow actions to automate tasks such as notifications, follow-ups, or account updates.

This trigger simplifies contact management by syncing updates and automating related tasks. With the right filters and actions, you can ensure your workflows remain efficient and responsive to changes in your contact records.
