A survey that matches your brand and works for your business can make all the difference to your customers' experience. The Settings section inside the Survey builder is where you handle all of that.

To access it, switch to the Settings section using the top bar.

On Submit

Here, you set what happens when someone submits your survey. You can choose between:

  1. Redirect to URL: The visitor will be redirected to a web page of your choice. A thank-you page works well here, as it gives positive reinforcement once they've completed the form.
  2. Message: Display a custom message you've written when the form is submitted.
  3. Order Confirmation: If you're using the form to sell products or collect payments, select this option to show a small order confirmation once payment is complete.

Message

When using the Message option, you can write and format your message with inline styles: bold, italics, font sizes, colours, emojis, and more, all directly inside the editor.

You can customise your layout for Desktop and Mobile independently using the icon at the top right corner.

Additionally, you can customise background, font weight, padding, margin, and text box corner radius in the Message Styling section.

Preview

The preview section lets you see how your message looks against your actual background image, updating instantly as you edit.

Disqualify Immediately

When building your survey, you can set it to "Disqualify Immediately" when a visitor chooses a specific answer. This is particularly useful for qualifying leads. You can choose what happens to that visitor when they are immediately disqualified. You have 2 options:

  1. Open URL: The visitor will be sent to a URL of your choice.
  2. Message: The visitor will see a message after being disqualified and remain on the same page. You'll need to add a message in the input section for this to take effect.

Disqualify After Submit

You also have the option to "Disqualify After Submit" when a visitor chooses a specific answer. This lets the visitor finish the entire form but be disqualified at the end. You can choose what happens to that visitor when they are disqualified. You have 2 options:

  1. Open URL: The visitor will be sent to a URL of your choice.
  2. Message: The visitor will see a message after being disqualified and remain on the same page. You'll need to add a message in the input section for this to take effect.

Facebook Pixel

Input

Track form submissions and use your Facebook Pixel for analytics and advertising.

Ignore this field if you plan to use this survey inside a funnel.

Events

Specify Facebook Pixel event settings for tracking and attribution.

  1. On Page View: Choose what events will fire when a visitor lands on the page where your survey is embedded.
  2. On Form Submission: Choose what events will fire when a visitor submits your survey.

Survey Settings

These settings define general survey behaviour:

  1. Create Contact on Partial Submission: Enabling this will create a contact with the information collected, even if the customer didn't finish the survey.
  2. Auto Navigation: Disabling auto-navigation will hide it, so the visitor must select "Next" to move to the next survey slide and question.
  3. Scroll to Top: Use this toggle to scroll to the top of the survey.
  4. Sticky Contact: Sticky contact will autofill your visitor's contact information from a previous visit, so they don't need to enter it again.
  5. Use GDPR-Compliant Font: This replaces your fonts with one that complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  6. Enable Timezone: With this toggle on, you can capture the timezone of the person submitting the survey.

Those are the core settings available inside the Survey builder. You can now tailor your survey to suit your needs, making sure it works well, looks on-brand, and delivers a good experience for your customers.
