Affiliate marketing is a cost-effective way to build brand awareness, loyalty, and recognition. A key part of keeping that running smoothly is responding to affiliate sales promptly, and automation makes that straightforward.

The "New Affiliate Sales" trigger lets you create workflows that fire when an affiliate completes a sale, or when a sale is attributed to them.

Adding Your Trigger

You can find this trigger in the Affiliate section of your workflow triggers. To add it, click "+ Add New Trigger" and select it.

Workflow Trigger Name

Update the name that will be displayed in the builder.

Narrowing The Reach

Define which contacts should enter the workflow by adding filters based on your criteria. The main filters for this trigger are:

Affiliate

Select "Affiliate" from the Filters dropdown, choose your operator, then select the affiliate you want to trigger or exclude from your workflow.

Campaign

Select "Campaign" from the Filters dropdown, choose your operator, then select the affiliate campaign you want to trigger or exclude from your workflow.

Payout Method

This filter lets you include or exclude sales from affiliates who have added a payout method. Select "Payout Method" from the Filters dropdown and choose an operator.

W8/W9 Form

This triggers the workflow based on whether the affiliate has submitted tax forms.

Once you're happy with your selections, click "Save Trigger" to save your changes.

Add your actions as normal, then save your workflow. Using this trigger helps you manage affiliate sales as soon as they come into your CRM, leading to smoother communications, better onboarding, and a stronger return on your affiliate campaigns.
