Connecting your Instagram account lets you access incoming Instagram messages directly from the conversation tab. Once the integration is set up, your Instagram account will be fully connected and visible within the platform.

📌 Please Note: Instagram messaging connection settings are only available for Instagram accounts connected to Facebook Pages, Meta Business Suite, Business Manager, and third-party apps.

Creating Instagram Messages

When you receive a message notification, the CRM shows which platform it came from, which is particularly useful when managing multiple communication channels at once.

If a client has previously contacted your business through Instagram, you can reply via Instagram Messenger directly from the contact conversation. If the client hasn't messaged you through Instagram before, the option to send an Instagram message won't be available.

Adding Emojis to Instagram Messages

To include an emoji in your message, click the smiley face icon when composing. You can search for specific emojis using the search bar or browse by category. To add multiple emojis, simply repeat the process for each one.

Attaching Files to Instagram Messages

To attach files or images to your Instagram message, click the paperclip icon. This opens a file explorer window where you can select and upload the files or images you need. Follow the prompts to complete the attachment.

Using Snippets in Instagram Messages

You can use SMS templates within your Instagram messages. Click the paper icon at the bottom of the message box and a pop-up will appear, letting you choose from your existing snippets in the CRM. Select the template you want from the dropdown menu and click 'Use Template' to insert it into your message.

Trigger Links let you automate actions when a contact clicks a specific link. Adding a trigger link to your messages lets you track engagement and trigger targeted workflows based on a contact's behaviour.

Utilising Custom Values

Click the tag icon to access and insert custom values into your messages. Custom values let you personalise communications and improve customer engagement.

Requesting Payment via Instagram Message

To request payment from a customer, click the money icon inside the additional options in the message box. A pop-up will appear asking you to fill in the necessary invoice details. Once done, click 'Copy link and mark as sent' to finalise the process.

Activating the AI Bot

Enable the AI Bot to automate conversations and provide instant responses to customer enquiries. The AI Bot helps streamline communication, reduce response times, and deliver consistent support across all chat interactions.

Adjusting the Message Box

To expand or collapse the message box, click the icons in the top right corner. This will resize the message box and keep any unsent content so you can come back to it later.
