This guide shows you how to transfer an incoming call to another user in your account. The feature lets you view key details, such as the number initiating the call and the number being dialled, before you transfer. Let's get started.
Here is an example of an incoming call. Once you've answered, you'll see options to send a message, add notes, or perform a blind or warm transfer.
In a blind transfer, the call is forwarded without any introduction or context. A warm transfer means letting the person receiving the call know about the caller's issue before handing over. Choose whichever suits your situation. This guide uses a warm transfer.
Find the user you want using the search bar or scrolling through the list. Once you've found them, select the Hold & Call button to pause the current call and dial the user.
You can also switch to the keypad to enter the number you want to dial. Don't forget to include the area code!
Once the receiving agent is up to speed, select the option to merge the calls.
Both parties are now connected and you're free to leave the call.
That's it. Use this feature to keep your communication smooth and efficient.
