Facebook Reels are short-form videos up to 90 seconds long. Like TikTok and Instagram Reels, they show your content to people outside your existing followers, which helps grow your brand visibility and encourages viewers to engage with your page, brand, and products. You can manage your Facebook Reels alongside the rest of your short-form video content using your Social Media Manager.
For New Posts
To create a post from scratch, start by clicking "New Post" in the top right corner. Select "Create New Post." Alternatively, there's also a "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your posts list.
Select Facebook as the social media platform you want to post on.
Write your caption and hashtags, or click the robot icon to use the AI tool to help with content creation. We recommend keeping the caption short since it will appear directly underneath the video.
To upload your video, click the camera icon. This takes you to your media library where you can select an already-uploaded video or upload a new one from your files.
The Follow-up comment lets you post an automated message after posting.
Scroll down to Facebook options, open the drop-down menu, then select Reel as the post type.
You can preview all your content here before you post.
Once you're happy with your post, click the Post button. It will give you the options for the next step. These will be:
After selecting the next step, you're done! Your video is ready to go. Now you can keep your posting schedule organised and consistent, helping you grow your audience and reach new heights.
📌Important Notes:
- The video has to be between 3 and 90 seconds and a maximum of 1 GB in size.
- The aspect ratio needs to be 9:16 or 1080×1920 pixels, to a minimum of 540×960 pixels.
- Thumbnail support is not available for Facebook Reels.
