Posting to YouTube frequently and consistently is the most important thing when trying to grow and maintain an audience. The algorithm favours channels that keep an active presence, and your Social Planner helps you organise your content and boost your brand's presence.

Make sure you've connected your YouTube channel before proceeding. If you haven't, click the downward-pointing triangle and then click Add Account.

Select the YouTube icon; this will open a new window where you can log in and connect your channel.

For New Posts

To create a post from scratch, click "New Post" in the top right corner and select "Create New Post." There's also a "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your posts list.

Select YouTube as the platform you want to post to.

Type in your caption and hashtags, or click the robot icon to use the AI tool to help with content creation. You can also add formatting like bold and italic text.

To upload your video, click the camera icon. This opens your media library, where you can pick an existing video or upload a new one from your files.

The Follow-up comment lets you post an automated message after posting.

Scroll down to YouTube options and open the drop-down menu to set the details.

  1. Add a Title for the video.
  2. Select the Post Type. Remember that Shorts can't be longer than 60 seconds.
  3. Set the Privacy Level: Public makes it available to everyone, Private limits it to people you grant access to, and Unlisted makes it unavailable in search.

You can preview all your content here before you post it.

Once you're happy with your post, click the Post button. You'll see options for the next step:

After selecting the next step, you're done. Your video is ready to go.

For CSV File Posts

If you have several posts planned ahead of time, you can create them as a CSV file and upload them all at once. This way you can schedule up to 90 posts per CSV. To get started, click the "New Post" button and select "Upload from CSV" to go to the upload page.

Your CSV needs to be properly formatted. Click "Download a sample file" to get a template.

The file needs to:

  • The accepted date format is YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss using the 24-hour clock (for example: 2025/05/23 20:15).
  • The Text column supports captions and hashtags.
  • The link column is an OG meta tag and accepts one link.
  • The image and video columns accept multiple images and videos, comma-separated. GIFs are limited to one per post.

Click Next to select the channels you want to post to, and choose an Approver if needed.

After importing by clicking Process CSV, the posts need to be reviewed by the chosen approver. Once approved, they'll be scheduled on the social calendar. If no approver is selected, they'll be scheduled directly.

That's all there is to it. You can now keep your posting schedule organised and consistent, helping you grow your audience and reach new heights.

📌Important Notes:

  • Users can add videos and shorts of up to 1GB.
