The Chat Widget lets you instantly capture visitors from your website and turn them into leads inside the system. If you're here, that probably means you've already created a Chat Widget and are ready to use it. Your Chat Widget does need to be connected to a website to work, though.
So how do you connect it? It depends on where you've built your website, so let's go through all the ways to get the Chat Widget set up. Before we begin, make sure you've created, customised, and saved at least one Chat Widget in your CRM. If you haven't, please check our related articles on how to do so.
📌Note: The Chat widget will only load after users have accepted the cookie consent prompt on your funnel or website.
Adding to All Pages of Your Funnel/Website
If you created your Website inside your CRM or you want to add a widget to a Funnel, first access that Website/Funnel inside your sites.

Inside the Funnel/Website general view, select the Settings Tab.

Here, you'll find a drop-down menu for the Chat widget. Each widget you've created will appear, so you can choose the one you'd like to add to your site.

Once you've chosen the relevant widget, click Save to make it live. This will add it to all the pages of your Funnel/Website.

Adding to a Specific Page of Your Funnel/Website
To add the widget to a specific page, you'll need to insert the Chat Widget code in the tracking code of that page.
To get the code, click the three dots icon of your desired widget and select Edit.

Inside the Chat Widget Builder, click the Get Code button at the top right corner.

Within the pop-up, you can choose how to install the code, whether via Google Tag Manager or the code itself.

Click the Copy button to save the code to your clipboard.

Now that you have the code, navigate to the Funnel Step or Website Page you want to add the Chat Widget to. Select the Tracking Code icon on the upper navigation panel.

Paste the code in the code editor of the Footer Tracking section, then save!

Alternatively, you can add a Custom Code element to your page and enter the code in the Open Code Editor.

Make sure to preview the funnel or website to see what the widget will look like for contacts visiting your page.
Using Multiple Chat Widgets
###
Adding to an External Website
If your website is built on Squarespace, GoDaddy, or similar, you'll need to install the Chat Widget as an embedded element or custom code element in the header or footer code. If you're not sure how to do this, speak to a web developer or your CRM administrator.
Follow the steps above to copy the code, then paste it into the relevant section of your site!

WordPress Plugin
If you're using WordPress for your website, select the Get it for WordPress option. You'll be taken to the page to download the plug-in.

You can also access the Plug-ins tab inside your WordPress account. Hover over the Plugins tab within WordPress and click "Add New." This will take you to a page where you can search for and install new plugins.

In the search bar at the top right of the "Add Plugins" page, type "LeadConnector." Once it appears in the results, select "Install Now." After installation, an "Activate" button will appear; click it to enable the plugin on your site.

On the left-hand menu of the WordPress admin dashboard, find and select "LeadConnector." Within the plugin interface, you'll find a "Sign in" button. Click it to log into your account.

After signing in, you'll be prompted to choose an account if you have more than one.

Once you've selected the account, your Chat Widgets will be integrated and can be managed from the LeadConnector Dashboard!

And that's it! You can now start adding your Chat Widget to all your pages and keep the conversation open with visitors at all times.
