Your calendars are used to book clients in for appointments. They're often customised and tied into workflows, so permanently deleting one isn't always the right move. If you need to pause a service or an appointment type won't be available for a while, deactivating the calendar is the better option.

Deactivating a calendar hides it from contacts without removing it from the system, so you can switch it back on whenever you need to. To get started, go to the Calendar tab under the Settings section.

Deactivate Calendar

To deactivate a calendar, open the 3-dot menu next to it and select Deactivate Calendar.

A confirmation prompt will appear; click Save to confirm.

Activate Calendar

To reactivate a calendar, click the three-dots icon next to an inactive calendar and select the activate option. As with deactivation, a confirmation window will appear; click Save to confirm.

When you and your team need to pause appointments, you can take calendars offline without blocking time or losing any of your settings. It's a straightforward way to control when each calendar is visible to the public.
