Managing notifications well keeps communication clear and appointment scheduling running smoothly. You can customise notification content and choose specific recipients to make sure the right message reaches the right person. Notifications cover more than just the standard confirmation email; you can also set up alerts for Appointment Booked, Cancellation, Reschedule, Reminder, and Follow-Up events. Notifications are delivered via both the web and mobile apps, with the flexibility to send updates to assigned users or specific team members.
Steps to Configure Notifications
Navigate to Calendar > Calendar Settings, then select the option to edit the desired calendar.

Go to the Notifications tab, choose a notification type, and click the pencil icon to Edit.

Configuring Email Notifications
Enable Email Notification by toggling it on and customising the content for different recipients.

Select an existing email template or create a custom subject line and email body.

You can also configure the from name and email, and send a test email to check everything looks right.

Click Save to finalise your settings.

Configuring In-App Notifications
Switch to the In-App tab and toggle on In-App Notification.

Specify the recipient(s) for the notifications.

Click Save to apply the changes.

📌Note: For Event Calendars, the default recipient for in-app notifications is the account admin, while for other calendar types, the assigned user receives them by default.
Configuring SMS Notifications
Open the SMS tab and enable the notification to send a notification via the SMS channel.

Like email notifications, you can choose to send the notification to the contact or to other recipients.

Expand the recipient window to select an existing template or compose your message directly in the provided field. You can also send a test message to make sure everything looks exactly as intended.

Once satisfied, click Save.

Configuring WhatsApp Notifications
The final option is to send the notification via WhatsApp. Start by enabling the notification.

Then, choose who should receive the notification and select an approved WhatsApp template from the dropdown.

Finally, send a test notification and save your changes.

Once you're happy with all your notification settings, save the calendar to keep your changes.
