Social media is a powerful tool for building interest in your brand. It creates organic interaction and brings more customers to you. Adding a location to your posts makes them easier to find, gives you better insight into followers, likes, and comments, and helps draw in a local audience.
To use it, create a post from scratch by clicking "New Post" in the top right corner. Select "Create New Post". Alternatively, there's a "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your posts list.
Select the social accounts you want to post on.
Add your content as normal. Type in your caption and hashtags, or click the robot icon to use the AI tool to help with content creation. You can also add formatting like bold and italicised text, or add media by clicking the camera/picture frame icon.
Click the pin icon to add a location, where you can tag the place your post is from. Keep in mind this feature is only available for Facebook and Instagram.
This opens a pop-up where you can search for your desired location. Once you've selected it, click save to add it to the post. You'll need to pick a location for each social separately, so if you're posting to both Facebook and Instagram, select a location for each one.
After saving, you can see the location in the preview.
Once you're happy with your post, click the Post button. This gives you the options for the next step with the post. These will be:
After selecting the next step, you're done. Your posts will now be tagged with the location, helping drive engagement, making them more visible, and creating targeted marketing for anyone near that location.
