Connecting your Facebook and Instagram accounts improves your social media management and makes it easier to track and engage with leads. This links your accounts to NotLuck CRM so messages, leads, and data stay in sync. Follow the steps below to set up and manage the integration.

To start the connection, go to the Integrations section in your account settings. Click the Connect button next to Facebook, then follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.

Facebook Login Page

Log into Facebook by entering your username and password if prompted. Type in your details and click the login option.

After logging in, you'll see a list of requested permissions. For best results, keep all permissions enabled. If you'd like to adjust them, click the "Edit Access" button and toggle the switches as needed. Click "Continue as" to move on to the next steps.

Choosing your Facebook Page

Choose the page you want from the dropdown menu.

Click the Troubleshoot option to diagnose and resolve missing permissions or other issues with the Facebook integration.

To connect additional pages, click on Manage.

Tick the box next to the pages you'd like to connect, set which leads should be synced (all leads, or only new leads after connection), then click Connect.

Finalising the Integration

The Instagram business account linked to your selected Facebook page will be identified and ready to connect. Click the "Connect Facebook and Instagram" button to finalise the integration.

Your Instagram account will only appear here if it has already been linked to your Facebook account via the Linked Accounts section within Facebook.

Settings

To manage Messenger, shops, or your ad account, click Settings from the actions dropdown.

Facebook Messenger

Turning this on lets you receive Facebook Messenger messages directly in your account, so you can stay on top of conversations with prospective customers. Toggle the option to enable or disable it.

Instagram Direct Messages

The Instagram tab gives you direct access to your message inbox without switching windows or loading a new page. Select the Instagram tab to enable or disable the feature.

Facebook Shops

If you have a Facebook/Instagram Shop connected, you can manage messages and e-commerce products in this tab.

Selecting Ad account

To connect your Facebook ads account, select the ad account from the dropdown.

Removing the Connection

From the actions dropdown, click the "Disconnect" button to remove your Facebook account from the CRM.

✍️Important Notes

  • If you have manually imported missing leads using a CSV exported from Facebook Ads Manager, please disable the "Allow duplicate contacts" option to prevent duplicate records being created during synchronisation.
  • Workflows triggered by contact creation or Facebook Lead form submissions will activate for each new contact created while existing contacts generated through Facebook Leads will remain unaffected.
  • The timestamp for new contacts will reflect the current time, and the synchronisation process may take up to one hour to complete, depending on the volume of leads to be synced.

Once you've followed these steps, your Facebook and Instagram accounts will be connected to the CRM, keeping your social media activity and lead data in sync. Check your settings periodically to make sure everything stays up to date.
