Audit Logs give you a detailed record of all activities and changes made across various modules, including contacts, calendars, opportunities, and communication. They're useful for tracking where changes came from, keeping your data accurate, and making troubleshooting straightforward.

Accessing Audit Logs

To get started with Audit Logs:

Go to the settings area of your account. In the settings menu, find and select Audit Logs. This takes you to the Audit Logs area, where you can see all recorded activity.

Use the search feature to quickly find specific records.

Apply Filters

To narrow down what's displayed, apply filters based on criteria such as user, activity type, module, or date range. This makes it much easier to find exactly what you're looking for.

Remove filters by clicking the X icon (1), or refresh the list to confirm your filters have been applied or removed (2).

Viewing Detailed Logs

To get more detail on a particular entry, locate it in the list and click the eye icon next to it. This opens a context menu. From there, choose the option to view details, which expands the entry to show fuller information about the activity.

If more detail is available, click the arrow within the expanded menu to see the specifics of that activity.

Using search, filters, and detailed views, you can navigate and review activity logs efficiently, making it easier to monitor and troubleshoot any changes within your system.

Troubleshooting Tips

Audit Logs Visibility

  • Audit Logs are only visible to Account Admins. If you can't see them, check that you have the necessary administrative privileges.

Filtering Challenges

  • If you're having trouble filtering the logs, double-check your filter criteria. Make sure the module IDs are accurate and that the filters have been correctly applied.
