Tasks are essential for keeping your business organised, bringing all your to-dos into one central place in the CRM.

The Tasks section within the Contacts tab gives you a full overview of tasks assigned to team members and linked to specific contacts, so you can manage responsibilities and stay on top of things. Access the Tasks tab to get started.

No Tasks Created

If you see the message "No Tasks Found," your task list is currently empty. As you create tasks, they will appear here, giving you an organised view of everything in progress.

Create New Task

You can create new tasks in several ways. A quick option is to click the Add New Task button within this section, which keeps things simple and helps you stay on top of your workload.

Task Category

  • All: Displays all tasks created within your system.
  • Due Today: Shows tasks that need to be completed by the end of the current day.
  • Overdue: Lists tasks that have passed their due date without being completed.
  • Upcoming: Highlights tasks with future due dates so you can plan ahead.

Filters

Filters let you quickly find tasks based on criteria like Assignees, Status, and Due dates, helping you focus on what matters most.

By Assignees

Filter tasks by team member to see what's assigned to specific people, or to find tasks that haven't been assigned yet.

By Status

Filter by current status, such as pending or completed, to help you prioritise your workload.

By Due Dates

Sort tasks by creation date or due date to keep on top of deadlines.

Advanced Filters

Advanced filters give you more control over how your task list is sorted, letting you tailor the view to focus on exactly what you need.

Sort

You can sort tasks using the following options:

  • Title: Sort tasks based on their title.
  • By Due Date: Arrange tasks based on their deadline.
  • Created At: Sorts tasks based on their creation date.
  • Updated At: Orders tasks based on the most recent updates made.

The search bar lets you quickly find specific tasks in your list without scrolling through everything manually.

Manage Fields

Customise which fields appear in your task table to suit your workflow. You can add, remove, or rearrange fields so the most relevant information is always visible at a glance.

Bulk Actions

Use the master checkbox at the top-left of the task table to select all tasks at once. Selecting multiple tasks lets you carry out bulk actions, saving time when you need to manage several tasks together.

Task Table

The Task Table gives you an overview of all your tasks, including Status, Title, Description, Associated contact, Assignee, Due date, and Action. Everything is in one place to make task management straightforward.

  1. Status: Shows the current status of each task. Click the checkmark icon to mark a task as completed.
  2. Title: Displays the task title. Clicking on a task takes you to the contacts section for more detail.
  3. Description: Gives an overview of the task's details or requirements. Clear descriptions help team members understand what's expected of them.
  4. Associated Contacts: Shows the contact linked to each task, providing context for tasks tied to client relationships or specific projects.
  5. Assignee: Displays the team member assigned to each task, giving a clear picture of how work is distributed.
  6. Due Date: Shows when each task is due, helping you keep things on schedule. For recurring tasks, the Due Date column shows a cycle icon beside the date to indicate the task repeats. Hover over the icon to see the recurrence frequency.
  7. Actions: Update task details such as the title, description, due date, or assignee as needed. You can also permanently remove a task from the list.
