Accidentally deleting a contact is an easy mistake to make; fortunately, it doesn't have to be permanent. The restore function lets you undo this and get the information back in a few simple steps.

Restore Contacts

To access previously deleted contacts, click the three-dot icon in the top right corner and select Restore. This shows a list of all contacts that have been removed, so you can review and reinstate them if needed.

📌Note: Depending on your user permissions, you may not have access to all of the components.

No Deleted Contacts

If this message appears, there are no contacts available to restore right now. To see how the restore process works, come back to this guide after removing a contact from the CRM.

List of Deleted Contacts

Contacts are shown in a table view, with their name (1), email (2), phone number (3), and deletion date (4) visible. Check these details carefully to make sure you're selecting the right contact before going ahead with the restoration.

If you have a long list of deleted contacts, use the buttons at the bottom to navigate through the pages.

Restoring Contacts

To restore one or more contacts, find them in the list and tick the checkbox on the far left of each entry.

Once you've selected the contacts you want, click the Restore button.

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Confirm to complete the restoration.

A successful restore brings back the contact along with their associated conversation, notes, opportunities, tasks, appointments, and manual actions. It's a handy safety net that saves you the time and effort of rebuilding contact details from scratch.
