The Stale Opportunities trigger fires only for opportunities that have been sitting open longer than a set period of time. You can customise the timeframe that marks an opportunity as stale, and define what actions should follow.
When no filters are selected, the workflow activates automatically for all opportunities in the open stage across any pipeline.
To get started, click Add New Trigger and select Stale Opportunities.

📌Note: Once the workflow is triggered, it runs daily at 8:00 am.
Adding Filters
You can narrow the trigger further by clicking Add Filters. The standard field options are Assigned To, Doesn't Have Tag, Duration in days, Has Tag, In Pipeline, Lead Value, Lost Reason, and Status.

Assigned To
Assigned To triggers the workflow when an opportunity card assigned to a specific user exceeds its set timeframe and is marked as stale.

Doesn't Have Tag
With the Doesn't Have Tag filter selected, the workflow activates only when an opportunity card in the Open status of a pipeline has exceeded its set timeframe and does not have a specific tag.

Duration of Days
The Duration of Days filter identifies stale opportunities and triggers workflows for them. It only activates when an opportunity card has exceeded its set timeframe, labelling it as stale.

Has Tag
With the Has Tag filter selected, the workflow only triggers when an opportunity card in the Open status of a pipeline has a specific tag and has exceeded its set timeframe.

In Pipeline
The In Pipeline filter lets you automate workflows when an opportunity card in a specific pipeline exceeds its set timeframe and is marked as stale. This filter only triggers for opportunity cards in the Open pipeline stage; it won't activate for cards in the Won, Lost, or Abandon stages.

Lead Value
The Lead Value filter triggers the workflow only when an opportunity card with a specified monetary value is marked as stale. This lets you target stale opportunities by deal value, helping you prioritise follow-up or cleanup actions for higher- or lower-value leads.

Lost Reason
The Lost Reason filter triggers the workflow when an opportunity card marked as Lost, with a lost reason of your choice, exceeds its set timeframe and is considered stale.

Status
The Status filter activates the workflow when an opportunity card with a selected status (Open, Won, Lost, or Abandoned) exceeds its set timeframe and becomes stale. This helps ensure workflows run only for stale opportunities in the specific lifecycle stage you want to manage.

We recommend combining filters to build a more efficient workflow. Once you're happy with your trigger, save it and add actions to complete the automation before publishing.
