Custom values are a versatile feature that lets you manage and reuse key information across the CRM. Whether you're setting up company details, promotional offers, or logos, custom values help keep your content consistent. This guide walks you through setting them up and using them across the tools in your account.

Access Custom Values

Start by clicking on Settings in the left menu and navigating to Custom Values. From here you can create custom values for various purposes, such as company details, offers, logos, and more.

Create a Custom Value

Click on Add Custom Value. A new window will prompt you to enter a name and a value.

For example, if you want to create a custom value for a promotional offer, you could name it "Offer" and set the value to "50% Off."

You can also save links as custom values for logos and images; just insert the link in the value field on the pop-up modal. Once you've entered the details, click Create to store your new custom value. It will now appear in your list of custom values.

Copy the custom value by pressing the copy icon next to it.

Using Custom Values in Funnels

Navigate to the Sites section and select a funnel to open it, or create a new one.

Click on the funnel page you want to edit and choose to open it in the current tab or a new tab.

To add a custom value, click the Add Element button and select an element that supports custom values, such as text elements, images, videos, and buttons. In this guide, we'll show you how to add a custom value to a paragraph element.

Paste the custom value key into the paragraph element using Ctrl+V. Alternatively, open the Custom Value Picker by typing "{" or highlighting some text.

Using Custom Values in Conversations

Custom values can also be used in Conversations to dynamically insert discount codes, product URLs, or other static information into messages. This feature is supported across all communication channels, keeping things efficient and consistent. Click the tag icon within a chat to use custom values.

When creating a new post in the Social Planner, incorporating custom values can streamline the posting process and ensure each post reflects your brand identity.

Using Custom Values in Templates

When creating email templates and campaigns, you can incorporate custom values in various areas to personalise your emails. Custom values can be added to the email body, subject line, email description, and even the "From Name" and "From Address" fields within the template settings.

Custom values can also be used in Snippets, Automation, Courses, and more. Whether you're setting up offers, logos, or any other key data, custom values will save you time and keep your content consistent.
