Moving from an older service to your new platform can feel daunting, especially when you have spent time building content like email templates. If you have Mailchimp templates you want to use in your new CRM, follow these steps to get them across.
Log in to Mailchimp
Start by visiting the Mailchimp website and logging in with your credentials to reach the dashboard.

Accessing Templates in Mailchimp
Once logged in, look at the left-side navigation panel and find Templates. Click it to access your saved email templates. Don't see a design? You can create a new one here.
For Campaign Templates
In Mailchimp, go to Campaigns > All Campaigns. Find the campaign with the template you want, click Edit, then select View Email to open it. Copy the web address (URL) from your browser's address bar.
Adding the Mailchimp Email Template To Your CRM
In your CRM, navigate to the Emails tab inside the Marketing Section and switch to templates.

Click "+ New" then select Import Email.

Import Email Template
Once the pop-up window appears, click on the Import from dropdown and choose Mailchimp (1). Next, input the URL (2) got from your Mailchimp account, select how you want to open the template once imported (3), and click Create Template to proceed (4).
📌 NOTE: The template you import will likely be in a format called Code Editor or HTML. You may need to make some adjustments to fit it into your new email campaign or email marketing platform properly.

Before finalising anything, take a moment to check how the Mailchimp template looks in your new email campaign, so you can make sure it appears the way you want.
Importing an Email Template from Active Campaign or Kajabi
If you ever want to import templates from a different email marketing service like Active Campaign or Kajabi, keep in mind that the steps may be different.
To get started, click on Import Email, when the new window that pops up choose the email marketing service from which you want to import an email template.
NOTE: Always make sure you have the right permissions and rights to use templates from other sources to avoid any legal issues.

By following these steps, you can bring your Mailchimp templates into a new email platform and keep your branding consistent across campaigns.
Experiment with these imports, and adjust your template's design for the best fit.
