The Import Contacts and Opportunities feature lets you bring in contacts and opportunities together through a single CSV file. It simplifies bulk creation and updating of records, cuts down on manual data entry, and keeps your data consistent. Smart field mapping, automated contact de-duplication, and real-time progress monitoring make the whole process straightforward.

How to Use the Import Feature
Navigate to Import
In the Opportunities section, open the options menu (three dots) and select "Import."
Select Objects and Upload
Choose Contacts and Opportunities as import objects, then proceed to upload the CSV file.
Choose Record Actions
Decide whether you'd like to create new records, update existing ones, or do both. You can also review your Deduplication preferences to verify the selected settings. These preferences can be adjusted within the Business Profile section of your account.
Map CSV Fields
Map fields in your CSV to the relevant fields in the system (for Contacts or Opportunities) to ensure accuracy.
Confirm Import and Customise
Enhance your organisation by applying relevant tags to categorise contacts, add contacts to workflows to automate follow-up actions, or assign contacts to specific smart lists for targeted segmentation.
Review your mappings to make sure each data field is accurately matched, confirm the import, and click Start to add the bulk action to the queue.
Monitor Import Progress
Track the import process under the Bulk Actions tab in Opportunities. Here, you can view progress, download error logs, and resolve any issues.
