Reports give you a concise, dynamic view of your company's health. When you're working with your data in the CRM, you'll want an easy way to share that information with the right people. Here's how to create reports in the Reporting section.

To get started, click +New Report. This opens a pop-up to begin the report setup.

You can create your report from scratch or select a Dashboard to use as a template.

Creating a Blank Report

This option opens an introductory page with the rest left blank, ready for you to populate with widgets, just like a dashboard. To add elements, click the plus sign icon in the top right corner.

Next, select your widget or element from the menu.

Once you've selected an element, head to the Configure tab to set what the widget should do.

Open the Advanced Settings drop-down to set specific dates to measure or compare your data against.

To exclude certain information, switch to the Conditions tab and set your filters.

Once you've set your parameters, click Save to add the widget to the report.

Using an Existing Dashboard

Choosing "Import from existing dashboard" starts your report with all the widgets and elements from that dashboard already in place. Select the dashboard you'd like to use as a base, then click Import.

Customising The Report

Once a widget is added, click the three-dot icon next to it to edit or delete it.

Move elements by dragging and dropping them or expand/minimise them by dragging the bottom right corner.

To change the colours of your custom report, click the plus sign icon and switch to the Themes tab.

Select a preset theme or create your own using the Paint-Pallet Icon. We recommend reading the article "How to Configure Your Dashboard Theme" to learn more about theme customisation, as the process is the same for dashboards and custom reports.

Using the page list, you can reorganise or delete sections of the report. To move a page, drag it into the new position.

To rename or delete a page click the three-dot icon next to it.

To change the date range of the displayed information, click the calendar icon. This opens a calendar where you can set the start and end dates for the reporting period.

Click the two-dot icon in the top right corner to change the properties, where you can customise the logo, background colour, and information displayed.

Sending the Report

Once you're happy with how your report looks, click Send or Schedule to set the sending details.

To set your schedule frequency:

  1. Set the repetition interval, for example weekly.
  2. Set the day and time you'd like the report to be sent.
  3. The date range will be the days the report considers for the graphs.
  4. Set the comparison date range to limit the days it compares the current information.

Next, enable or disable the Widget-Level Date Settings according to your preference. When enabled, widgets with custom date ranges and comparisons will keep those settings in the emailed report. When disabled, all widgets will follow the global report date range set during scheduling.

Once done, fill in your email details as normal and click Save and Schedule. This will automatically generate and send a report based on your data.

Use Custom Reports to turn your data into professional, visually appealing reports that inform better business decisions.
