Adding multiple contacts to an automation is straightforward. Select the contacts you need from the Contacts tab and add them to your chosen workflow. You can add contacts immediately, at a scheduled time, or in drip mode, giving you flexibility to suit your needs. Follow this guide to get contacts into your automation quickly, saving time while keeping control over the process.

Start by selecting the relevant contacts from the list, then click the Add to Automation bulk action.

Naming Your Action

This opens a window where you can enter a name for the action, which will appear in the action report. Choose a name that makes sense if you need to track progress or hand it over to a team member.

Selecting Your Workflow

Next, choose the relevant workflow from the dropdown menu.

Mode

Choose how contacts should be added to the workflow. You can add them all at once, at a scheduled time, or in drip mode.

  • Send All at Once: Immediately add all selected contacts to the chosen automation.

  • Send at a Scheduled Time: Schedule the contacts to be added at a specific date and time.

  • Send in Drip Mode:
  1. Start Date & Time: Schedule the addition to begin on a specific date and time.
  2. Batch Quantity: Specify the number of contacts per batch.
  3. Repeat After: Set the interval between batches, from seconds to days.
  4. Send On: Select the days of the week to send batches.
  5. Process Between Hours (Optional): Define the time frame for processing the batches.

Completing the Addition

Once you're happy with your selections, click the Add to Automation button to start processing the bulk action.

The action runs in the background and can be monitored on the Bulk Actions page, letting you add contacts to automations quickly without manual effort.
