Appointments help you make the most of your day by letting you prepare in advance and stay productive in between. This can all be done from the Contacts section, where you can set details like the date, time, and status of the appointment, the calendar it was booked on, and the assigned user. Here's how.

Manually Scheduling From Contacts

Go to the Contacts section and find the contact under the Smart Lists tab.

Click the contact's name to open their details, then click the Calendar icon.

Click the "+ Add" button to get started.

Choose the type of appointment.

Meetings

A pop-up will appear for you to fill in the appointment details, similar to the one used when booking from Calendars. Follow the steps in the "Appointment Panel Options" section of the "Book New Appointment" article, but skip selecting a new contact.

Services

A pop-up will appear for you to fill in the appointment details, similar to the one used when booking from the Services tab. Follow the steps in the "Creating New Appointments" section of the "Managing Service Appointments" article, but skip selecting a new contact.

Created Appointment Options

Editing an Appointment

Once an appointment is created, click the three dots icon, then the pencil icon to make changes. This opens a full view of all the appointment details, the same as when you first created it.

Cancelling an Appointment

Click the three dots icon, then select Cancel to mark the appointment as cancelled. No reminders will be sent, and any workflows triggered by appointment cancellation will run.

Appointments give you a visual way to manage your time and keep your day under control. Following these steps, you can manage appointments directly from contact cards for a smoother workflow, better customer satisfaction, and more effective time management.
