Creating email templates and campaigns gives you a lot of options. You can choose from existing emails, customise templates, or even craft your own from scratch, which can feel like a lot to take in. If you find editing email content confusing, don't worry; we'll show you how easy it can be!
Add Layout
To create an email template, or organise the structure of an existing one, the first step is to select a layout block and drag it to the template workspace.
This simple drag-and-drop feature lets you add various layout options to your email template and customise them to suit your needs.
Editing a Section
Once a Layout is added you can start adding elements and changing the section by using the Quick features. These are the quick features you can access:
- Add Element
- Manage Element
- Appearance
- A/B Testing
- Saved Elements
Edit Block
Upon clicking the edit button of a block its options will open. This enables you to modify the layout, padding, background type, colour, and body pattern, giving you greater control over the appearance of your email template and letting you tailor it to your specific needs and preferences.
Clone
You can clone a block by clicking the two-square icon to save time and effort. This way, you don't have to rebuild the block from scratch. Cloning lets you quickly replicate an existing block and make any necessary modifications, streamlining the email creation process.
Save Element
This option allows you to save the entire section as a stable element that can be added to email templates as a unit.
Delete
To remove a block, click the trash can button. This option lets you easily get rid of unwanted blocks while editing your email template.
Visibility
For elements, you can click the Phone or Monitor icon at the top to change the kind of devices they show. When you click on the desktop or mobile icon, its icon will be grayed out showing the element is NOT visible on that device type.
These are the basics of email editing and creation. However, depending on the element you are editing additional options will be available to you, so we recommend checking other articles inside this section to learn more about how to use them.
