The Social Planner lets you add your Instagram business or creator accounts to the CRM. If you haven't converted your Instagram personal profile to a business profile yet, you'll need to complete the two steps below first:

  1. Switch from a personal account to a business account in your Instagram app settings.
  2. Connect your Instagram business account with your Facebook account

Connecting your Instagram

Navigate to the Social Planner section in your account, then click the "+ Socials" button.

After clicking "+ Socials," select the Instagram account option and choose whether to enable automatic post syncing. When enabled, this feature will sync posts published directly to the account, including content from the past 30 days and all new posts moving forward.

Next, select whether to connect Instagram through Facebook or via direct integration. Make sure to review the integration limitations before finalising your choice.

Instagram with Facebook

To connect your Instagram account through Facebook, log in to your Facebook account and provide the required permissions for Social Planner. Make sure you use the Facebook account that has the Instagram Business Account connected to it. Enter the relevant details and click Log In.

📌 Note: If the Instagram Business Profile is not yet verified, it means that the Instagram Business Account is not connected to any Facebook page. This is a requirement from Facebook to post.

Next, select the Instagram Profile(s) you'd like to connect by clicking Add. Once connected, you'll be able to check the account and schedule posts.

Direct Instagram Integration

To connect your Instagram account directly, enter the account credentials in the provided fields, then click Log in.

You'll then be prompted to review and adjust the permissions if needed. Once set, click Allow to continue.

Next, select the Instagram Profile(s) you'd like to connect by clicking Add. Once connected, you'll be able to check the account and schedule posts.

Connecting your Instagram profile helps you reach a wider audience by taking the hassle out of posting. Scheduling content and managing your social media from the Social Planner in the CRM frees you up to focus on planning, and lets your content do the talking.
