Email notifications for quiz submissions keep your team in the loop the moment a response comes in. By alerting the right people automatically, you can follow up faster, handle leads more effectively, and stay on top of engagement.

Create or Edit a Quiz

From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Sites, then select Quizzes from the top menu. Click Add Quiz to create a new quiz, or select an existing quiz to open it in the builder.

Enable Notifications

Once inside the builder, click the bell icon in the top menu to open the notification settings. Toggle the switch on to activate email notifications for quiz submissions.

Configure Notification Settings

Once notifications are on, you'll see several configuration options:

  1. Subject Line: Customise the email subject line as needed. The quiz name fills this field by default.
  2. Email Recipients: Enter the primary recipient's email in the Email To field. Any additional addresses will be included as Cc recipients.
  3. Reply-To Address: Update the Reply-To address if needed. You can use {{contact.email}} to send replies directly to the quiz respondent.
  4. Sender Name: Optionally set a sender name. Leave it blank and the system will use your business or account name.

PDF Attachment

When switched on, submission and result details are automatically generated as a PDF and attached to the notification email.

Auto Responder

Turn on the Auto Responder option to send the quiz participant an automated confirmation email, including a copy of their submission details.

Customise the email content to control what information is shared with the respondent.

Once you've set everything up, click Save to apply your notification preferences.

Save Your Quiz

Make sure to save the quiz itself so all notification settings take effect.

Once set up, every new quiz submission will send an email notification to your chosen recipients. Your team won't miss a response and can act quickly on new leads or quiz results, giving you faster engagement, better responsiveness, and a more consistent experience for both your team and your audience.
