The Opportunity Status Change trigger fires only when an opportunity's status changes in the Opportunities section of the CRM, moving from one status to another. It won't activate unless the opportunity card's status actually changes.
Adding the Opportunity Status Changed Trigger
To get started, click "Add New Trigger", then search for and select "Opportunity Status Changed".

All Filters
You can filter your trigger by clicking Add Filters and selecting from the options below. All filters are required when added.

Assigned To
The "Assigned To" filter triggers the workflow based on which team member an opportunity is assigned to. Select a team member from the dropdown to set the condition.

Has Tag
Choosing "Has Tag" activates the workflow only when an opportunity card with a specific tag moves from one status to another. For example, this filter will only fire when an opportunity card with a First Appointment tag moves from open to won.

In Pipeline
The In Pipeline filter activates the workflow only when an opportunity card in a specific pipeline changes status. For example, if an opportunity card in the Appointment pipeline moves from open to abandoned, this filter will trigger the workflow.

Pipeline Stage
To narrow things down further, use the Pipeline Stage filter. This targets a specific stage in the pipeline and activates the workflow when an opportunity card reaches it.

For example, if Confirmed is selected in the Appointment pipeline, the workflow will only fire when a contact moves to that stage.
Lead Value
Choose the Lead Value, set an Operator, and enter the lead value as a number.

Lost Reason
Use this filter to track opportunities lost for specific reasons. The workflow activates when an opportunity is marked as lost with a defined cause.

Moved From Status
The Moved From Status filter lets you trigger a workflow based on where an opportunity card moved from. For example, if a card moves from open to abandoned, lost, or won, the workflow will activate.

Moved To Status
Similarly, the Moved To Status filter triggers the workflow based on the status an opportunity card arrives at. For example, if a card moves to won from abandoned, lost, or open, the workflow will fire.

Once you've set your filters, click the Save Trigger button in the bottom-right corner to save your configuration.
📌NOTE: You can add workflow actions to automate tasks such as notifications, follow-ups, or account updates.

With customisable filters and automated workflows, your team can respond promptly, keep your pipeline visible, and work more efficiently. Managing and tracking opportunity transitions becomes a straightforward process that improves both productivity and the customer experience.
