This article walks you through setting a connected Facebook page as the default within Ad Manager. The default page will be used as the primary option when publishing new ad campaigns, though you can choose a different page during campaign creation if you need to.

How to Set a Connected Facebook Page as Default

All connected Facebook pages are accessible through the Ad Manager settings under the Pages tab. To get there, click the gear icon at the top right of the Ad Manager homepage.

To set a Facebook page as the default for new ad campaigns, find the page you want under the Pages tab.

Click the ellipses (three dots) at the right edge of the page's row and select 'Set as default' from the dropdown menu.

Once selected, this page becomes the default, replacing whichever page was set as default before.

✍️Important Notes

  • During onboarding, the first Facebook page connected to Ad Manager will automatically be set as the default.
  • If a default page is deleted, the next connected page will automatically become the new default.
  • Only one Facebook page can be set as the default at any given time.

Following these steps lets you control which Facebook page is used as the default for your ad campaigns, keeping the campaign creation process straightforward and customisable.
