Asking members to complete their profile when they first join a Community Group makes it easy to identify who's who. That said, the extra required step can put some people off if they'd rather browse the group first. Here's how to turn it off if needed.
Go to the Community Groups tab inside the Memberships section and click Log In under the group you want.
In the group module, click Settings on the right to open the menu.
Scroll down in the Details section and uncheck the box next to Show mandatory profile modal.
Click Save to apply the change.
That's it. If you don't want new members to be required to set a profile picture and bio straight away, this setting removes those prompts and lets them fill in their details in their own time.
