Your invoices are more than simple payment slips; they're a touchpoint with your customers that can leave a lasting impression of your brand. Adding the right fields, including specific information and branded elements, helps you make that difference. Here's how.

Navigate to the Invoices & Estimates tab inside the Payments section and click the Settings option.

Switch to the Title, Terms, and Layout section.

Under Invoice Layout, click Customize Layout.

Layout Tab

In this tab, you can customise the fields and colours of your invoice. The fields to customise are as follows.

Branding

  1. Pay button colour: Use this colour selector to change the Pay button at the top.
  2. Border colour: This option will modify the separator bar.
  3. Button text: Use this to add a branded phrase to your Pay Button.

Business Information

In this section, you can select what information to include or exclude, edit the details, and add Custom Values.

Contact Information

Rename sections such as "Contact Information" to "Shipping Details" or anything that fits your needs, and add custom fields to contact information on the go for personalised invoices with this section.

Invoice Information

This section contains the invoice fields that can't be edited since they are required for the invoice to be valid.

Labels

This section allows you to edit column labels to add branded text instead of the default (1) for fields such as Item Name, Price, Quantity, Tax, Subtotal, or choose to hide them by unchecking the box next to them (2).

Preview changes live on your invoice template. Once you're happy, click Save Changes to apply your new design straight away.
