When managing your dashboard and making sure the right people can see the data they need, it helps to understand how roles, permissions, and widget configurations work.
Date/Time Formats
Custom Widgets can be synced to local time to keep things accurate. To set this up, go to the main Dashboard view, select the "Manage Dashboard Time zone" option from the actions dropdown, and choose between your user-specific or the default location time zone.
Roles and Access Levels
- Account Admin: Full view access to the dashboard and its data unless otherwise configured.
- Account User: View access based on assigned user permissions.
Adjusting Dashboard Permissions
To modify a user's dashboard access, follow these steps:
Click the three dots at the top right corner of the dashboard and select "Manage Permissions".
Choose from four distinct levels of permissions: Full, Edit, View, and No Access; and toggle the private option if necessary.
For further customisation, go to "My Staff" within the Settings menu, then click the "Edit" button next to the specific user whose permissions you want to adjust.
Select "Roles & Permissions" and make the necessary updates to their access levels within the Dashboard section.
To display data specific to individual team members, you can configure each widget. Navigate to the conditions tab and set the User condition. Selecting the "Logged in User" option ensures that each team member only sees their own data on the widgets.
Following these steps keeps your dashboard secure and tailored to each team member, while giving you control over what data is displayed. With these settings in place, you can personalise the dashboard to suit different roles and make sure everyone sees exactly what they need.
