Ebooks make a great lead magnet. They help readers buy into your business and position you as an expert in your field. Putting them inside a funnel makes them more attractive and lets you collect contact details to grow your mailing or texting lists.

Creating and Adding a Form

The first step is creating a form for visitors to fill out to receive your ebook. Go to the Forms tab inside the Sites section and click +Add Form.

Choose a template to start with. For an ebook funnel, a simple registration form with fields for first name and email is all you need.

You can also customise the form to improve the experience for visitors. Small changes like adding your logo or adjusting the colours of your button can make it feel more on-brand.

Save your form with a descriptive name, such as "Ebook Registration."

Building Your Ebook Funnel

With your form ready, the next step is to add it to a funnel that walks users through signing up for your ebook. Go to the Funnels section and click New Funnel.

Choose a template that fits your ebook funnel.

Customise the funnel page by adding a button for users to click to sign up. This button should trigger a pop-up showing the form you created.

Open the pop-up settings.

Add a row and a column, then insert the form element and select the "Ebook Registration" form you created earlier.

Customise the pop-up to your liking, then click Save.

Configuring the Thank You Page

After users submit their details, they should be taken to a thank you page. In your funnel, navigate to the thank you page section and click Edit.

Edit the page to include a personalised message or offer, such as a discount code to thank them for signing up. Once you're happy with how the funnel looks, click Save and Publish in the top right corner.

Tips and FAQs

  • What if my form isn't showing up in the pop-up? Make sure you've added the form element in the pop-up settings and selected the right form.
  • How can I change the look of my form? The form builder has customisation options, including changing button colours and adding images. Try these settings to match your brand.
  • Configure the form to redirect users to the thank you page on submission. You can do this by setting the form's submit action to open a specific URL (your thank you page), or by selecting "Next Step" in your pop-up's submission settings.
