Managing affiliate commissions effectively keeps affiliates motivated and your programme on track. With Affiliate Level Commission Settings, you can set custom commission rates for individual affiliates within a campaign, giving you a flexible, precise way to manage commissions. The feature lets you override campaign-level commission settings with affiliate-specific ones, making it easier to reward top performers and manage your affiliates.
This article walks you through navigating and using Affiliate Level Commission Settings so you can get the most from your affiliate programme.
Navigate to the Affiliate Manager
Log into your account and go to the Affiliate Manager. This is where you manage all aspects of your affiliate programme, including setting individual commission rates.
Select the Affiliate
Go to the Affiliate Page, where you'll find a list of all your affiliates. Select the affiliate you want to set custom commission rates for. This makes sure you're adjusting the right person.
Choose the Campaign
Scroll down to the "Active Referral Link" section. Find the campaign you want to customise and click "Customize" next to it. This lets you configure the commission settings for that campaign for the chosen affiliate.
Configure Affiliate Level Commissions
In the campaign settings, switch to the "Commissions" tab. Enter the custom commission rate for the selected affiliate. You can configure both the Default Commissions and Product-Based Commissions as needed. If the campaign is multi-tiered, you can also set commission rates for each tier. Save your changes to apply the new settings.
Affiliate Level Commission Settings give you fine-grained control over your affiliate programme, making it straightforward to reward top performers and keep your campaigns on track. Use these steps to adjust your commission structures and get the most from your affiliate marketing.
Important Notes
- Precedence: Affiliate-level commission settings will always take precedence over campaign-level settings for commission calculation. This ensures your custom settings for individual affiliates are applied correctly.
- Tier Management: Users cannot change tiers in the affiliate profile settings. The tier dropdown will be disabled. Changes to tiers must be made in the campaign settings.
- Support: Currently, only affiliate campaigns where the source is a funnel or website support this feature.
